The attention of the Paramount Ruler and the CDC Chairman of Ekeremor Community has been drawn to a misleading information spreading on social media platforms of their support for the Senator representing Bayelsa West, Henry Seriake Dickson.

It’s important to note that the Ekeremor local government area are aware of the circumstances of the zoning arrangement in the senatorial district and it’s a case study to the younger generation for reference purposes.

The Paramount Ruler neither the CDC Chairman will never attest or keep muting to such publications in social media platforms.

The Paramount Ruler of Ekeremor Community, His Royal Highness (HRH) Chief Gbaseimor Agbodo while addressing newsmen of hotnews stated that the entire people of Ekeremor community are aware of our ways of conducting elections. There is slang saying Ekeremor is Wekebe at all times, only indigenes has an idea of that slang.

Chief Agbodo added that the second tenure ambition of Senator Dickson is not a problem to Ekeremor Community and it will never be a topic of discussion to the sons and daughters of Ekeremor. The interest of the electorates will decide the outcome of the Election and the people of Ekeremor local government area, and as such, the people will not be in support of bad leadership. Man’s political ambition that is totally against their interest and benefit as a people will be disgraced at the polls.

The CDC Chairman of Ekeremor Community, Acct. Seidu Ebiakpo while addressing newsmen of hotnews stated categorically that the claims of his support for Senator Dickson is totally false and should be disregarded. Has earlier been stated by His Royal Highness that Ekeremor sons and daughters knows what to do, Ekeremor is Wekebe at all time.

Acct. Ebiakpo also added that himself and the Paramount Ruler, Chief Gbaseimor Agbodo as traditional leaders of the community are open to receive anyone contesting for any elective office under any political party in a democratic order.

Acct. Ebiakpo further stated that the Miracle Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri made everything possible for the Sagbama-Ekeremor road to be drivable to Ekeremor community, and as such, he has no reason to castigate the Gov. Diri led Bayelsa State Government.

Acct. Ebiakpo further reiterated his commitment and support for the prosperity government led by Governor Douye Diri, stressing that the people of Ekeremor community are fully behind Gov. Diri, and they are working for his reelection in the November 11th gubernatorial election in the State.

The Paramount Ruler and the CDC Chairman of Ekeremor community in their last words described their support for Senator Dickson as fake news, which should be disregarded, stressing that Ekeremor Community at large knows what to do.
