Dickson Condoles With Jonathan Over Elder Brother’s Death

Former Bayelsa State Governor and Senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson has commiserated with the family of the Obuebute’s over the death of their brother.

Dickson made this known through his official facebook handle, said the deceased left behind a very young family, and prayed to God to grant the soul of the departed eternal rest.

Hot News reports that the deceased is an elder brother to a former Commissioner for Education, Hon. Jonathan Obuebute, Ph.D, who served in Dickson’s administration as Governor of Bayelsa State.

The former state helmsman who was accompanied by stakeholders, elders, women and youths from Bayelsa West for the condolence visit, described the death as an irreplaceable loss to the family.

The statement read in parts: “Yesterday, I was able to get to Nembe city, after Trofani, and I joined in the funeral rites of the elder brother of my former Commissioner for Education, Hon. Dr. Jonathan Obuebite. I joined him, the family, and the community.

“In my remarks, I thanked them for the warm reception and delivered a condolence message from my family and the people of our Senatorial District.

“I prayed God to grant the soul of the departed eternal rest.

“I thanked the people for joining the Obuebite family to bid the deceased farewell.

“He left behind a very young family, and I prayed that God would give them the fortitude and provide for them.
