Diri Pays Condolence Visit To Belemote Over Father’s Death

Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri has paid a condolence visit to the Bayelsa State Commissioner For Community Development, Hon. Alfred Belemote Watson over the death of his father, Late Chief Willie-Iti Watson.

Hot News gathered that the commissioner’s father passed away on the 9th of November, 2024.

Governor Diri who was accompanied by his Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, used the medium to commend the deceased for his contributions and public services to the state and beyond.

The state helmsman on behalf of the state government, sympathizing with the entire Watson family for the irreplaceable loss, said the deceased touched so many lives while in public service within and outside the state.

Diri said the funeral of the deceased will indeed be a celebration of life, considering his age, and tremendous developmental contributions to his kingdom and the state at large.

He added by praying to God Almighty to give the entire Watson family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss, and the grant the departed soul eternal rest.
