Gas Turbine Proj: Bagou Commends Gov. Diri’s Developmental Strives

A Public Commentator and Social Media Influencer, Mr Preye Bagou has commended the Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri for his tremendous achievements in various sectors primarily geared towards the growth and development of the state.

Governor Diri led Assured Prosperity Administration has initiated and completed landmark projects in Infrastructure, Security, Education, Healthcare, Sports, Workers Welfarism etc, in the last five years.

Bagou through his social media handle (facebook), commended the Governor for his vision, zeal, commitment and dedication in completing projects of previous administrations as well as initiating new projects for the growth and development of Bayelsa state.

He stated that the state helmsman’s visionary gas plant project to give residents 24-hour power supply, will place Bayelsa as a business hub for domestic and international investments when completed soon.

Bagou commending Senator Diri for his unrelenting commitment for a better Bayelsa, said the state will be a centre of attraction for domestic and foreign investments with the completion of the ongoing projects.

The statement read in parts “Bayelsa State under the Assured Prosperity Government has made landmark achievements and contributions in major sectors to fast-track socio-economic activities in the past five years.

“I want to profoundly commend the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri for his focused & visionary developmental strives since inception in office.

“I sincerely commend his unrelenting zeal and dedication in completing & initiating landmark projects for the growth and development of the State, in order to enhance economic activities.

“He is deliberate about the development of the state, by making giant steps in improving major sectors, ranging from Infrastructure, Security, Education, Healthcare, Sports, W-Welfarism etc

“These are major sectors that contributes to the growth of any growing economy like Bayelsa. In order to boost socio-economic activities, a power plant project is under construction.

“The power plant project which is intended to give residents 24-hour power supply in the state, is near completion – as the gas turbines and transformers has arrived for installation.

“The 60-Megawatt Gas Turbine Power Project will not only improve economic activities in the state, but will place Bayelsa as a business hub for domestic and international investments.

“Governor Diri has reiterated his commitment to embark on a Water Project after the completion of the Gas Plant Project. These are projects that will transform the economy of the state.
