Ewhrudjakpo’s Death: Olomu, Others Commiserates With Dickson, Family Members

The immediate past (2023) House of Representatives Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sagbama-Ekeremor Federal Constituency, Hon. Michael Bless Olomu, Ph.D, led a stakeholders delegation to condole with the Senator representing Bayelsa West, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson.

Hot News gathered Senator Dickson in the last few weeks, had received different prominent Bayelsans and Nigerians, who out of their busy schedules visited to condole with him and his family over the passing of Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, Late Bayelsa Deputy Governor.

Olomu led stakeholders of the APC in Sagbama LGA to condole with Senator Dickson over the passing of the Bayelsa Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, who was a trusted, committed and loyal mentee to the former governor.

The strategic condolence visit held on Tuesday, 30th December, 2025, at the Abuja residence of Senator Dickson, had in attendance of the former APC National Assistant Publicity Secretary, Hon. Yekini Nabena, Bayelsa State APC Deputy Chairman, Barr. Francis Kolokolo.

In his remarks, the former house of reps candidate, Hon. Michael Bless Olomu, Ph.D, expressed sadness over the shocking sudden death of the Late Bayelsa Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo.

Olomu describing the late deputy governor in few words, said Senator Ewhrudjakpo was a humble, friendly, hardworking personality, who was dedicated and committed in public service to humanity and society.

According to him, the sudden death of Senator Ewhrudjakpo, has created an irreplaceable vacuum in the lives of so many Bayelsans, and beyond.

The APC stakeholder sympathizing with Senator Dickson and his family, said Ewhrudjakpo’s death is a great loss especially to the good people of Sagbama, and prayed to God to give all the affected parties the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.

Retrospectively, recall that Senator Dickson led high-powered delegation of Bayelsa West leaders, stakeholders to condole with Olomu and his family over the death and funeral of his mother at his residence in Yenagoa, earlier this year, 2025.
