Diri Joins Shettima, Akpabio, Yilwatda, Others At Ekiti APC Campaigns Grand Finale

Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, joined Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda, and other prominent leaders of the party at the grand finale of the APC governorship campaign in Ekiti State.

Hotnews gathered the well-attended political gathering, which drew party faithful, supporters, stakeholders, and dignitaries from across the country, marked the grand finale of the APC governorship campaigns ahead of the governorship election in the state.

Governor Diri, who joined his colleagues under the APC platform for the historic event, reiterated his unwavering support for the re-election bid of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, describing him as a visionary and people-oriented leader whose administration has continued to deliver meaningful development and good governance to the people of Ekiti State.

According to the Bayelsa Governor, the achievements recorded by the Oyebanji administration within a short period in office have justified the confidence reposed in him by the people and have earned him widespread acceptance and support across political divides.

Governor Diri noted that Governor Oyebanji’s inclusive leadership style, humility, and dedication to public service have contributed significantly to the peace, stability, and progress currently being enjoyed in Ekiti State.

He stressed that continuity in governance remains critical to sustaining developmental projects and policies that positively impact citizens, adding that the APC remains committed to consolidating on the gains already recorded in the state.

The Bayelsa Governor also expressed confidence that the people of Ekiti State would once again demonstrate their support for Governor Oyebanji at the polls by granting him a landslide victory of renewed mandate to continue his developmental agenda.
