Bagou Congratulates Dr. Akpe On His Appointment As Chief Of Staff, Bayelsa Govt House

Former Technical Assistant to the Governor of Bayelsa State on Special Duties, Mr Diepreye Bagou, has congratulated Hon. (Pst) Peter Pereotubo Akpe Ph.D, on his appointment as Chief of Staff, Bayelsa State Government House.

In a congratulatory message made known to Hot News Reporters, Mr Bagou described the appointment as a well-deserved appointment on the basis of merit and competence.

Dr. Peter Pereotubo Akpe who competently functioned as Deputy Chief of Staff, and subsequently Acting Chief of Staff in the first tenure of the Prosperity Government, performed tremendously in setting the right path of the government.

“It was evident that Dr. Akpe was one of the brain box behind the success story of the Prosperity Government in the first tenure; who was very resourceful and workaholic in discharging his duties as Acting Chief of Staff, Government House.

While commending the miracle and people’s Governor, Senator Douye Diri for the appointment, Mr Bagou described Dr. Akpe as a leader with so much wealth of knowledge and experience that will always set the right path of government policies.

Mr Bagou stated that Governor Diri has further shown his readiness and commitment in employing competent and experienced hands to continue the path of peace, unity, stability and development of the state, as agendas of the government.

“Considering the appointee’s wealth of knowledge, ideas, experience and years of impactful public service, there is absolutely no doubt that he will perform beyond expectations in discharging his duties effectively, as he has always done without limitations over the years,” he added.

Mr Bagou described Dr. Peter Akpe’s appointment as Chief of Staff, Government House as a round peg in a round hole considering his vast knowledge, ideas and experience in administrative functions and public service which is commendable.

“Dr. Akpe’s appointment will boost and strengthen the support base of our great party, the PDP across the state, as a leader who believes and works with the youths, women and men especially, which he has gained the trust and love of the youths and women across the state,” he added.

Mr Bagou thanked the miracle and people’s Governor, Senator Douye Diri for the appointment of Dr. Peter Akpe as Chief of Staff, Government House, adding that the Prosperity Government is on the right path of progress and development with such appointment as an intellectual.

“Dr. Akpe as a result-oriented leader that understands the workings of the state, I have no doubt that he will team up with other government functionaries in carrying out the policies and programmes of the government on the path of peace, unity, stability and development.
