Bayelsa PDP Inaugurates New State Executive Members

Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has called on Governors under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Leaders and Stakeholders to create the enabling environment in building a stronger and indivisible party structure at the national level.

The governor made the appeal while making remarks at the inauguration of newly elected executives of the Bayelsa State Chapter of the PDP at the party secretariat in Yenagoa.

He described the crisis romancing the national leadership of the party, as a temporary setback that the party would come out stronger in the nearest future, if party leaders and stakeholders work together in unity.

The state helmsman charged the new party executives in the state to remain focused and committed in discharging their duties unbiasedly, adding that their good leadership roles will strengthen the party for more victories in future elections.

In his remarks, the State Chairman of the PDP, Mr Solomon Agwana expressed profound gratitude to the governor and the government for the trust bestowed on him and other executives to pilot the affairs of the party for the next four years.

He used the medium to appreciate leaders and stakeholders of the party at various levels in the state for their selfless services in building and strengthening the party, adding that the party will continue to rule the state as the most formidable party.

Hot News gathered that the PDP state executives inauguration ceremony was massively attended by party leaders, stakeholders, state and national assembly members, including local government council chairmen across the state.
