Breaking: Federal High Court Orders NLC, TUC To Call Off Planned Industrial Action
A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has granted an interim order restraining the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) to call off planned protest and strike on Wednesday.
Recall that the NLC and TUC has unanimously agreed to embark on industrial strike from Wednesday 7th of June, 2023, until further notice over subsidy removal by President Bola Tinubu.
The Federal High Court in its ruling ordered Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) to halt the planned industrial strike until the determination of the motion on notice.
Justice O. Y. Anuwe issued the order on Monday and adjourned further hearing till 19 June.
