Breaking: Tinubu Has Not Sacked NNPC Boss, Mele Kyari – Source Discloses
The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) has said that their Group Managing Director, Mele Kyari has not been suspended by President Bola Tinubu.
Some media outlets circulated a report on Saturday that the NNPC General Managing Director, Mele Kyari has been suspended by President Bola Tinubu.
In a telephone conversation with Vanguard, a credible source within the presidency and the NNPCL dismissed the speculations.
The source dismissing the suspension claims, described the news as nothing but fake news.
The report of Kyari’s suspension is coming hours after President Tinubu suspended the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele.
