Diri Commiserates With Col. Gbeinzi Binatari’s Family

The Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, has commiserated with the family of his late secondary school classmate, Colonel Binatari Gbeinzi (Rtd), who died at the age of sixty five years.

Governor Diri joined family members, friends, sympathizers to attend the funeral of his departed secondary school classmate on Saturday at Odi community in Kolokuma-Opokuma Local Government Area of the State.

The Governor stating the sad role of death in everyone’s life, said the way everyone is seeing the lifeless body of the deceased, Colonel Binatari is the same fate of everyone someday.

He described the departed military officer as a very brilliant student amongst the students in the class of 1981 in government secondary school, Odi.

As students who had big dreams of a bright future, the state helmsman said he wasn’t surprised that the deceased got to the rank of a colonel in the military before his departure.

Senator Diri bidding farewell to his classmate Colonel Binatari, quoted the bible that there is a time to be born, and a time to die, noting that it’s also important to thank God for his life, and the impacts he made.

Praying to God to give the family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss, he said he believes that Colonel Binatari is resting in the bosom of the Lord, and may God accept his soul.
