Diri Presides Over 130th State Executive Council Meeting, Welcomes New Exco Members

Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri presided over the 130th Bayelsa State Executive Council meeting at the council chambers in government house, Yenagoa.

The governor while welcoming new members to the state executive council, urged all to work as a team as a mantra of the prosperity government, as their responsibility is service to the people with humility.

He stated that there are laid down rules, regulations and practices guiding every member of the state executive council, which everyone is expected to adhere while delivering quality services to the people.

Hot News reports that other key developmental issues of the state were discussed, as the state’s, helmsman charged members of the state executive council in executing policies and programmes of the prosperity government in the state.

The governor while appreciating the people of the state, thanked Bayelsans for creating the enabling environment for the prosperity government to thrive in delivering policies and programmes that they are happy with since assumption.

Addressing the issue of expected political appointments, he pleaded with Bayelsans to be more patient with the government, as special advisers, technical advisers and ministries are yet to be appointed.
