Highlife Campaign Council Stormed Ward 10, Carried Out Door To Door Campaigns To Solicit For Support

The State House of Assembly Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sagbama Constituency ||, Engr Humphrey Highlife Peremobowei and his Campaign Council stormed Sagbama Community under Ward Ten (10) in Sagbama Local Government Area, Bayelsa State.

The grassroot accepted state house of assembly candidate and members of the campaign council paid a courtesy visit to the Amanana-owei of Sagbama Federated Community, His Royal Highness (HRH), King Magbisa Moses Ojo and the Council of Chiefs to solicit for their support.

The Spokesman of the Campaign Council, Hon. Ebikapade Dibiya at the palace and various quarters introduced the house of assembly candidate and members of the campaign council with the exchange of traditional titles as tradition demands in such gatherings.

The spokesman while soliciting for their support on the saturday state house of assembly election, described the candidate as a humble, vibrant and hardworking young man with good leadership attributes that will change the narrative of leadership in the constituency.

The Director of the Campaign Council, Chief Lamidi Okeme in his solidarity speech stressed the need to support the candidate giving an elaborate explanation of the poor performance of the incumbent member, and how he has impoverished the constituency.

The campaign director while soliciting for the support of party members and the general public stated the important need to vote for the APC candidate on the saturday state house of assembly election, stressing that the candidate is their illustrious son.

Chief Okeme appealed to the people of the community to perceive the election beyond party affiliation by urging members of the opposition to come out en masse to vote for the young man who understands their challenges as a son of the soil.

The Deputy Chairman of APC in Bayelsa State and the Chairman of the Campaign Council, Hon. Francis Kolokolo Esq, in his speech thanked the paramount ruler and the council of chiefs for their warm reception of the campaign council to solicit for their support in the state house of assembly election.

Kolokolo condemned in strong terms of the third tenure ambition of the incumbent member which has never happened in the political history of the constituency, and the number of years the incumbent member has been in government from the inception of the previous administration.

The deputy chairman and chairman of the campaign council appealed to the community leadership at various levels and the people of the community in general to look beyond party affiliation and support the young man to maintain the political status quo of the constituency.

The Paramount Ruler, His Royal Highness (HRH), King Magbisa Moses Ojo in his overwhelming speech appreciated the candidate and members of the campaign council for the familiarization and consultative visit which is a great step in the right direction.

King Magbisa gave his fatherly blessings and prayed for the candidate of total victory in the election, stating that his name (Peremobowei) means wealth and success, as such, he will be victorious in the state house of assembly election.

The door to door campaigns of the house of assembly candidate and the campaign council recorded remarkable success as the fabulous characters of the community beyond party affiliation assured the candidate of their total support to ensure his victory at the polls.
