Highlife Congratulates Ogbuku On His Successful Inauguration, As The Substantive MD Of The NDDC
The Bayelsa State House of Assembly Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Sagbama Constituency ||, Engr Highlife Humphrey Peremobowei, has congratulated a Stalwart of the Party in Bayelsa State, Chief Samuel Ogbuku Ph.D, on his successful inauguration as the Substantive Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday asked the Senate to confirm the appointment of his Special Adviser on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie who is from an oil producing State in the Niger Delta region, Delta State as the substantive Chairman of the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
The governing board nominees were screened and confirmed by the senate few weeks ago, and waited for inauguration to fully carry out their respective functions in the commission primarily geared towards addressing critical issues of the Niger Delta region.
Highlife described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of a party man who has being a loyal and committed member of the party making vital contributions towards the growth and development of the party over the years, adding that the appointment will give a facelift in the affairs of the party in Bayelsa State.
“The appointment has once again reawaken the consciousness of most party members to be steadfast by not relenting in supporting and standing firm in the party irrespective of difficult circumstances with the hope of been rewarded someday in consideration with the appointment of Dr Samuel Ogbuku who can be described as a core party man in the state.
Highlife extended his profound appreciation to President Muhammadu Buhari for the well-deserved appointment of a great progressive like mind who can be best described as a party man, which is a great step in the right direction towards building a more formidable party structure in Bayelsa State.
He further thanked the leader of the party in Bayelsa State; who is the Honourable Minister of State For Petroleum Resources, Chief Timipre Sylva for facilitating the appointment of Dr Samuel Ogbuku, which can be best described as a great recognition for loyalty and commitment to the party over the years.
Highlife used the medium to appeal to the new NDDC Managing Director, Dr Samuel Ogbuku to perceive the appointment as an opportunity to effect a positive change in the affairs of the party in state, stressing that party members are in great need of empowerment programmes which will build the spirit of most party members.
