Ex-Agitators Applauds Ndiomu’s Reforms In Restructuring PAP

Ex-agitators of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) has applauded the Interim Administrator of the Programme, Maj-General Barry Ndiomu (rtd) for reforming and restructuring the programme towards achieving the core objectives of the establishment of the programme.

The commendation was made during an interactive session organized by the leadership and management of the programme with ex-agitators and leaders of phase two of the presidential amnesty programme in Calabar, Cross Rivers State basically.

Ex-agitators and leaders of phase two of the programme while expressing their total satisfaction with the interim administrator during the interactive session, applauded the sustenance of the scholarship scheme and the introduction of the cooperative loan scheme specifically.

The Spokesman of the PAP Phase Two two Leaders, Mr Ibena Rufus commended the significant successes recorded under the effective management of the current interim administrator, Maj-General Ndiomu towards improving the welfare of the ex-agitators and beneficiaries of the programme.

Mr Rufus while highlighting the significant progress made under the current interim administrator, commended Maj-General Ndiomu for the effective approach and remarkable bold steps towards the reintegration of ex-agitators and beneficiaries of the programme.

“Previous administrators struggled in creating initiatives for the reintegration of the ex-agitators and beneficiaries of the programme, but the current interim administrator has being making remarkable efforts in addressing the situation since assumption in office,” he added.

The Chairman of the PAP Phase Two Leaders, Mr Olutu Wanemi lauded the cooperative loan scheme introduced by the current interim administrator primarily geared towards empowering and improving the welfare of the ex-agitators and beneficiaries of the programme.

Mr Wanemi appealed to President Bola Tinubu for the reappointment of the interim administrator, Maj-General Ndiomu for continuous effective management of the presidential amnesty programme to ensure the attainment of the core objectives of the programme.

The interim administrator who was ably represented by his Chief Security Officer, Major Marshall Akpor in the interactive session reiterated the readiness and unrelenting efforts of the interim administrator in improving the programme to achieve its core objectives as expected.

Major Akpor stated the enormous benefits of the cooperative loan scheme introduced by the current interim administrator in providing an alternative livelihood for beneficiaries including the transparent distribution of the scholarship scheme to beneficiaries of the programme.

The Head of Reintegration of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Mr Wilfred Musa gave a deep insight of the success of the scholarship scheme to beneficiaries of the programme mostly under the current interim administrator, Maj-General Ndiomu basically.

He reiterated the commitment of the interim administrator in addressing issues of the programme working closely with traditional leaders, political leaders and stakeholders in maintaining the peace and stability of the Niger Delta region experienced under the interim administrator.
