Sagbama APC Ward 8 Holds Unity Meeting, Welcome New Members

…Declares total loyalty, support for Governor Diri and President Tinubu

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward eight (8) under Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Comrade Walter Nabena, convened a strategic stakeholders meeting to unite old and new members of the party.

The APC ward stakeholders meeting, was convened as strategic steps to welcome and familiarize with new members, who defected from the PDP to the APC with the State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, on Monday, 3rd of November, 2025.

The stakeholders meeting held on Saturday, 15th November, 2025, at the ward headquarters in Odoni community, had in attendance of old and new critical stakeholders and members of the party in the ward.

In his remarks, the ward chairman, Comrade Walter Nabena, thanked everyone in attendance for creating time to attend the APC ward meeting out of their busy schedules – as steps towards familiarizing and uniting old and new members of the party.

He stated the great importance for teamwork amongst party members, both old and new, to foster peace and unity with the sole purpose of building and strengthening the party structure to ensure the growth and development of the party in the ward.

Mr Nabena assured new members and the Governor, who is now the leader of the party of the party’s ward leadership maximum cooperation and support for the Renewed Hope Prosperity administration led by His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri.

In her remarks, the member representing Sagbama Constituency ||| in the state house of assembly, Hon. Ebizi Brown, thanked the APC ward leadership and members for the warm reception accorded to her and other new members to the party.

She assured the ward leadership, stakeholders and members of the party, of unwavering commitment and dedication to work collectively as a team to enhance peace, unity and progress of the party in the constituency and the state at large.

Party stakeholders in attendance were HRH, Omemu Eneikade, High Chief Lucky Asanakpo, Chairman, Bayelsa State Volunteers, Hon. Kobina Johnson, Chief Gift Kendabie, Chief Opukeme Nabena, Hon. Ebidouwei Miebi, Hon. Akpoegberi Ogidiga, Hon. Ebinafagha Dounana, Hon. Harcourt Felix, Okogba Peter, Peter Bufumoh, and several others.
