Senator Dickson Celebrates Fmr President Goodluck Jonathan @ 67

Former Bayelsa State Governor and Senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson has celebrated his boss and leader, former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, on his birthday celebration at 67.

The former governor and senator made this known through his official facebook handle, described the former president from the Ogbia extraction in the state, as an elder brother, father, leader and boss.

Senator Dickson eulogizing former President Jonathan as an exemplary leader of democracy, development and peace, said his elder statesman’s roles in the country and the world are tremendously commendable.

He said Jonathan’s historical call to congratulate former President Muhammadu Buhari after the declaration of results/winner in the 2015 presidential election, has placed him as an exemplary leader.

Senator Dickson on behalf of his family, thanked God Almighty for the birthday celebrant’s life, and prayed to God to grant him many more years in sound health for continued service to humanity and society.

The statement read in parts: “On behalf of my family, I wish our leader, father, elder brother and boss, former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, a happy birthday as he clocks 67.

“I am happy that he has since joined and carrying on the role of an Elder statesman in the country and around the world which was what we talked about and envisaged before he made the historic call congratulating former President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015 on his victory.

“His personal sacrifices for democracy and peace remain exemplary.

“Having worked closely under him, I know his passion for our state and everyone knows his passion for Nigeria while he served as Vice president and President.

“I thank God for his life and pray that God grants him more years in good health for continued service to humanity.
