Senator Dickson Hosted Federal Senior Officers Of Ijaw Nationality At Abuja Residence
The Former Governor and Senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District, His Excellency, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, hosted some Federal Senior Officers of the Ijaw Nationality at his residence in Abuja.
The former Governor and Senator made this known through his official facebook handle, expressed his satisfaction with the large turnout of the federal senior officers from the Ijaw nationality specifically.
The federal senior officers who are Assistants Directors, Deputy Directors and Directors in different federal ministries, expressed their profound gratitude to the federal lawmaker for the warm reception and hospitality at his residence.
Senator Dickson while addressing the federal senior officers from the Ijaw nationality on the significance of maintaining professionalism and service with integrity and dedication, urged them to perceive the great need for self-development for improved services to the nation.
While encouraging the senior officers in forming a strong and united platform where they will be sharing informations relating to opportunities and fostering mutual support among themselves, Senator Dickson urged them to involve all senior officers from the Ijaw nationality in all states.
Senator Dickson said the forum when properly formed and organized, will serve as a veritable avenue for bureaucrats, professionals and political leaders at the federal level to convene notes on issues of development for the benefit of the Ijaw nationality and the nation.
As a forum that is geared towards the development of the Ijaw nation, Senator Dickson accepted the offer of a patron of the forum, and called on all political office holders to give the forum access and the requisite encouragement and support.
