Dickson Joins Senate Committee On Judiciary On Courtesy Call To CJN

The Senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District, His Excellency, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, yesterday, joined the delegation of the Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters on a courtesy call on the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN).

The former Governor and Senator made this known through his official facebook handle, described the senate committee delegation of the courtesy call to the CJN, as steps and efforts towards improving the judicial system of the Country.

Senator Dickson said the senate committee delegation had fruitful deliberations with the CJN on how to strengthen and support the judiciary, as well as embarking on necessary reforms for a better and improved judicial system in the Country.

The statement read in parts: “Today, I was part of the Delegation of the Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters on a courtesy call on the Chief Justice of Nigeria.

“We had fruitful deliberations on how to strengthen and support the judiciary, and also embark on necessary reforms.
