Salga Youth Group Members Dumps PDP, Embraces NDC

Mass defection hits the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as over 500 members of Salga Youth Vanguard collapse structure to embrace the fresh platform that stands for true federalism, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), due to its ideals.

The massive defection ceremony held on Sunday, 20, March, 2026, at Sagbama town, comprised of youth leaders from various communities across the local government area that makes up the youth group.

Members of the prestigious youth group resolvedly embraced the NDC as a fresh platform that stands to groom the youths for leadership, which is in line with the aspirations of youths as laders of tomorrow.

The group coordinator, Comrade Timipre Adolphus Eziama, thanked members of the group for the collective decision to join the NDC, which reflects teamwork towards attaining the objectives of the group.

Assuring group members unrelenting commitment to the NDC, and the leadership, he called on sons and daughters of Sagbama LGA, Bayelsa West and Bayelsa State at large, to identify with the party for progress.

Various speakers reiterating total support, and commitment to the NDC, expressed delight in joining the party where their aspirations will be realized as a platform that stands to groom the youths for leadership.

Resolvedly commending the founder and national leader, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson for the vision behind the establishment of the NDC, the group promised to mobilize massive support to the party in the elections.

The group called on well-meaning Bayelsans, and Nigerians to embrace the NDC as a fresh platform that stands for true federalism in service to the people of the Nigerian State.
