Tinubu & Sanusi Hold Secret Meeting At Abuja State House

President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, reportedly had a closed-door meeting at the state house in Abuja.

According to reports obtained on Thursday evening, Sanusi, the former Emir of Kano, arrived at the Presidential Villa just before 05:00 pm, proceeding to the state house to meet with the Nigerian leader.

The meeting between Tinubu and Sanusi takes place just a week after President Tinubu suspended the immediate past Governor of Nigeria’s central bank, Godwin Emefiele.

While the specific agenda of their engagement remains undisclosed, it marks the first meeting between the two prominent figures since Tinubu assumed the presidency on May 29.
